📢 YCMSD Wants to Hear From You!

Every scholar matters. Every moment counts.

The Yazoo City Municipal School District is conducting a Chronic Absenteeism Root Causes Survey to better understand the barriers that may prevent students from attending school regularly.

We want to hear from parents and families, students, school staff, community partners, and community members. Your feedback will help us identify challenges such as transportation, health, family responsibilities, housing, engagement, access to resources, and other barriers that can impact student attendance.

Together, we can better understand the challenges our students and families face and work toward solutions that support regular attendance, student engagement, and academic success.
