Benchmark testing for the 3rd Nine Weeks will take place March 2–6, 2026. Please review the testing schedules for each school listed below to ensure students are prepared and arrive on time each day.

Unfortunately, the power is out at McCoy Elementary School and at Yazoo City High School. We will delay the opening of all schools by one hour. This will allow us time to assess the situation with the Public Service Commission. We cannot guarantee that we will start school according to the delay. The one-hour delay will give us time to gather information and to inform you accordingly. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation.
