Larry Summers Career and Technical Center is proud to recognize Dr. Alexis Reed, Educator Preparation Instructor, on her selection as Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB) Teacher Ambassador for the 2026-2027 school year.

As part of the program, Dr. Reed recently attended the first in-person Teacher Ambassador meeting at MPB headquarters in Jackson. The experience included learning about MPB's mission, exploring educational resources, touring the broadcasting and production facilities, and collaborating with fellow educators from across the state.

Dr. Reed looks forward to sharing MPB resources and opportunities with students and staff throughout the upcoming school year.
