Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Bridgett Wheaton, Ed.S., as the new Principal of Jevonne Keller McCoy Elementary School!

Mrs. Wheaton brings more than 25 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, curriculum specialist, assistant principal, and principal. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to increasing student achievement, supporting educators, and creating positive learning environments where all students can succeed.

With a strong belief in the power of relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, Mrs. Wheaton is excited to become a part of the Yazoo City Municipal School District family.
