🎓🏛️Yazoo City High School Students Visit the MS Capitol 🏛️🎓
On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, students from Yazoo City High School proudly represented our district at Yazoo County Day at the Mississippi State Capitol. Students had the opportunity to visit the Capitol while the legislature was not in session, allowing them to learn more about state government, civic responsibility, and the legislative process.

Yazoo City High School students also participated in the GTP MLK Weekend, held January 16–18, 2026, an enriching experience focused on leadership, service, and honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
