Through a partnership with the Southern Dropout Prevention Alliance (SDPA), teachers are eligible to earn up to 16 CEU’s through May 30, 2019.  The partnership allows you to receive self-paced, interactive, professional developed via 100 % online delivery. The courses are free; all you must do is follow the simple steps below to get started.


Step 1: Woolfolk and McCoy Teachers, self-enroll in this course using this URL:


Webster, High School and CTE Teachers, self-enroll in this course using this URL:


Step 2: Click on I am a new user and agree to terms of use.  

Step 3: Complete the form and hit submit.

Your request will be processed within 24 hours. You will receive your course login information via the email address you provided on the registration form.

Please Note:

  • Each course grants 4 CEUs upon successful completion.
  • The courses can be completed on your time from anywhere.
  • It takes a minimum of two weeks to complete a course.
  • You have until May 30, 2019 to complete this course
  • You can only enroll in one course at a time.
  • After you complete the course, your CEU certificate will cost you $15.00 It will be mailed to you from one of the partner colleges or universities and emailed to you as a PDF.

Suicide Prevention Training


In accordance with House Bill 263, Mississippi Department of Education requires that all school staff must have suicide prevention training. This includes bus drivers, cafeteria staff, custodians, teachers, administrators, security…everyone. After this year, only new employees will be trained. 

This training will be done online at your own pace. See training links and instructions below. More resources can be found at the Mississippi Department of Education's Suicide-Bullying Prevention site at
